Rocky Butte Picture Jasper Leather Cuff with Laguna Agate accents

The more comfortable I become in the adventure of silver-smithing I am on the hunt for amazing stones. Stones that talk to me and tell a story without speaking. I am very drawn to the desert landscapes. Rocky Butte Picture Jasper is a blue to blue-gray jasper with brown and dark maroon accents. The blue areas in Rocky Butte often has some patterning which makes it a little different from many of the other picture jaspers. Browns generally occur along the outside crust or along cracks in the stone. Alongside the jasper I added some Laguna Agate. The colors play so well together. I wanted to highlight the stone with dark earth tones of this piece and felt the dark brown stain of the leather fit perfectly. 

Cuff is stained Dark Brown and ready to custom size and ship!

All my cuffs are made of high quality european veg-tanned leather. Soft, fluid and sturdy.

This cuff sits at 2 1/4" in height and tapers to 3/4" at closure. The cuff fastens with a button snap.
